WELDING BASICS

Event description

New to welding? Well, here we offer a safe and accessible learning experience to get you started. In the 7 hours you learn the safety aspects and operations of welding before having hands-on practice on the MIG Welder. There’s no fixed project, however, there’ll be plenty of practice and possibility to make a little something to take home.

This course is perfect for those who don’t want to spend a lot of money finding out if welding’s their “thing”.

In a small class, and taught by the experienced metal artisan, Nyree L Smith, you are in good hands for a gentle and safe introduction to this skill. From here you will embark on your incredible journey into the creative and infinitely practical world of metalwork!

All PPE and materials are included. Please bring your own PPE if you prefer.

What to Bring:

- Drinking water and/ or refreshments, lunch (kitchen facilities available),
